This link leads to an external site telling in Swedish language about a Swiss sea captain who lived in Sweden in the 18th century.
He was born in 1740 and in some way ended up in Gryt on the Swedish east coast.
He had a couple of sons but no male grandchildren so his family name died out in the middle of the 19th century.
