The Rissler family

The old church in Sveg was pulled down in 1845 and the existing church was ready in 1847.

The old pulpit, dated 1649, was saved and can today be seen exhibeted in a separate room in the church.


So this is the pulpit from which the first Pehr (Petrus Erici) Rissler, and after him his son Pehr (Petrus Petri) Rissler, spoke to the congregation.
